چکیده
This work involved analyzing the self-excited and forced vibrations of iced transmission lines. By introducing an external excitation load, effect dynamic wind on nonlinear vibration equations was reflected by vertical aerodynamic force. The approximate analytic solution non-resonance forced-self-excited system obtained using multiple scale method. With increase in amplitude, nonlinearity enhanced, experienced three stages—namely, vibration, superposition forms vibrations, controlled damping. Among these, accuracy decreased with strength variations. When amplitude greater than critical value, quenching phenomenon appeared system, discriminant formula derived this work. In addition, third-order Galerkin method, which considered small sag effect, used to discretize galloping governing equation. response (principal resonance, harmonic resonance) analyzed time history displacement curves phase diagrams. conclusions may contribute practical engineering More importantly, as a combination Duffing equation Rayleigh equation, have high theoretical research value.

Quasi-Planar Transmission Lines
A newly proposed and tested full-wave mixed potential mode-matching method is presented for the analysis of planar and/or quasi-planar transmission lines. The transmission lines under investigation consist of layered (stratified) and nonlayered dielectric substrates and metal strips of finite thickness. The y-directed hybrid TE and TM Hertzian potentials, perpendicular to the interfaces between...

متن کاملForced and self-excited oscillations of an optomechanical cavity.
We experimentally study forced and self-excited oscillations of an optomechanical cavity, which is formed between a fiber Bragg grating that serves as a static mirror and a freely suspended metallic mechanical resonator that serves as a moving mirror. In the domain of small amplitude mechanical oscillations, we find that the optomechanical coupling is manifested as changes in the effective reso...
متن کاملThe Aerodynamic Analysis for Iced Four Bundled Transmission Lines with Typical Crescent
Despite the fact that the wind tunnel tests have been carried out on iced transmission lines subjected to wind load, it is not practical to do wind tunnel tests due to its high cost. This paper describes a detailed numerical simulation method that can be used to instead of wind tunnel tests. Based on the galloping mechanism of iced transmission lines, the aerodynamic test was simulated with the...
